How to keep your tootsies warm winter hiking in Arizona
Dust off that waterproof footwear for those chilly winter hikes. We may not use waterproof hiking shoes much in Arizona, but this time of year is when they work great. That breathable footwear we use the rest of the months here just doesn’t offer the insulation you may want for the cold, wet, or snow. Pair it with a good merino wool sock, and you are good to go.
